It has been a little while, but the RF Mentor site has finally gotten some much needed updates.
- We have moved the RF Mentor Academy/Subscription service to its own platform and site at Wireless RF Academy. This allows us to offer a single log-in for customers who purchase online training courses alongside a subscription. Previously we relied on logins from RFMentor.com to access the subscription. This setup inadvertently hindered our ability to upgrade either site, since they were both linked by the user base.
- Now that we have migrated the subscription program to a new platform, we have been able to update the website engine for the RF Mentor site. This will help keep the site running smoothly and securely. We also updated our logo to reflect the site emphasis on providing links to online resources and training.
- Minor updates were made to the Smith Chart matching web app. The layout has been changed a little to make the best use of available screen area. We are still adjusting the scripts after migrating the site over. Note that the "separate window" option is working well (scroll down on the Smith Chart page for the link).
